Aquarium
Memory Care

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, the Foundation recently completed a heartwarming project: the installation of a large, vibrant aquarium in the Memory Care Suites at Woodcrest of Country Manor. This serene centerpiece is more than just a beautiful addition to the space—it provides therapeutic benefits to residents, offering moments of calm, wonder, and connection.
Chapel Renovation
Spiritual Care

In 2008, size constrictions of the Country Manor Chapel became a concern. Driven by the vision of dedicated individuals, the Country Manor Foundation began fundraising efforts to build a new Chapel that could house its growing congregation.

From a modest gathering space in the Care Center to a hallmark of the Country Manor campus, the Chapel has grown in size and service.

Today, the Country Manor Chapel often sees crowds of 400 parishioners, enabling guests and their loved ones the ability to worship together. The 7,000 square foot space is also used for large events, entertainment purposes, and for staff education.
Rendever Virtual Reality
Quality of Life

In keeping with the Foundation's mission to provide life-enriching opportunities and experiences to the communities we serve, the Rendever Virtual Reality Platform allows residents to travel the globe or stroll down memory lane, all without leaving the comforts of their homes.
Pictured Above: Residents of the Country Villa go on a virtual adventure.

Each headset can be programmed for individual or group experiences, fully immersing residents in a 360° view of practically anything they choose, ranging from therapeutic meditation rooms to African Safaris. The possibilities are endless!

Families can get involved as well, with personalized family portals. Users can login from any web-based device and upload their personal images and videos. Residents now have the opportunity to virtually attend weddings, graduations, and other important family milestones and events that would have previously been inaccessible.

Rendever is currently utilized by the Housing department as a part of their monthly activities programming. To learn more about VR and the benefits for seniors, please visit the Rendever website.
